Sundays@3 Concert: Handel’s Messiah

Accompanied by full orchestra and featuring professional vocal soloists, this program will include all of the Advent and Christmas movements of Messiah, along with the ubiquitous “Hallelujah Chorus.” Preceding Part I of Messiah, organist and director Zachary Duell will join the orchestra to perform Handel’s effervescent, joyful Organ Concerto in F Major, Op. 4 No. 4. Beloved by many for their delightful, charming characteristics, Handel’s organ concertos were written to show off Handel’s own virtuosity while entertaining audiences during intermissions between acts of his oratorios.

This event is part of our Sundays@3 concert series, which has been bringing a wide variety of high-quality music to Corvallis since 1997. Free to attend.
