SUMMARY:Sundays@3 Concert: Black Swan Classic Jazz Band
DESCRIPTION:This concert will feature the Black Swan Classic Jazz Band of Portland with legendary Portland vocalist Marilyn Keller.\nThey’ll present a concert of old-time Jazz and Gospel favorites\, with a full swing band and rhythm section. Back by popular demand\, this will be the Band’s 9th performance on the Sundays@3 concert series. \nThe full band and Marilyn will also be present at the 10:30 Eucharist that day (Pentecost!) to lead the congregation in a Jazz Mass. What better spirit-filled music for Pentecost\, and what better way to end the program year and kick off the summer! \nEstablished in early 1989\, Black Swan is a hot dance band dedicated to Dixieland\, old-time gospel\, early jazz and ragtime music. \nThis event is part of our Sundays@3 concert series\, which has been bringing a wide variety of high-quality music to Corvallis since 1997. Free to attend.
