Many of the activities you’ll find in the church are self-led, directly organized by your fellow parishioners.

That said, leadership at Good Sam is balanced between the clergy and the vestry, which is elected by the congregation to manage our financial operations.

And if you zoom out even further, the Episcopal Church as a whole is governed by a General Convention made up of many regional dioceses (or districts). Good Sam is part of the Diocese of Oregon; our Bishop is the Rt. Rev. Diana Akiyama.
