Demystifying the Organ! August 16th at 12:00pm, Choir Loft

Ever wondered why our pipe organ has two keyboards? Or what the organist is doing with their feet as they play? Or perhaps you’re curious how much the organ weighs? On August 16th after the 10:30 service, Zachary Duell will offer a relatively short (~30 min) informational session talking about the basics of how the organ works, and how everything comes together to create the music we hear on Sunday mornings. If you’re curious to learn more about what Mozart called “The King of the Instruments”, come join us in the choir loft! You’re guaranteed to learn something new, whether you’re a lover of pipe organs, or someone developing a love for the instrument!
